Treefrog Dress Wins at IIDA Fashion Remix

A stunning and intricate evening dress featuring laser cut triangles made of Treefrog and Chemetal won “Best of Show” and “People’s Choice” awards at IIDA Fashion Remix in Salt Lake City.

The concept is simple for this annual event: design firms and students partner with product manufacturers and their local vender to create a one-of-a-kind ensemble using desing materials, then compete for awards in an exciting runway show at a packed venue.

The dress was created by EDA Architects in Salt Lake City, and modeled by one of their designers.

Midwest, Treefrog and Chemetal’s Utah distributer, worked with local designers to ensure they had materials and helped support the event. The annual event it organized by IIDA intermountain Chaper and a portion of show proceeds benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
